Fast, pleasant environment. Mediocre service. Low price. Ok deal. Service is very slow, friendly but not very efficient. Oh well...

I honesty don't know why this place has such low stars! The food was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was the fastest I've EVER had at a sushi restaurant! Also they were one of the few sushi restaurants open on a Sunday!

Cheater! The price in the bill and the price in the menu was different. I complained and asked about this, and they said the price was changed already long time but they don't changed yet in the menu.
How possible?? Even the price in menu outside that everybody can see wasn't changed too?
Don't want to argue.. but for sure I don't want to come back here! Sux! -

We were made happy by the nice photos of the menu outside the restaurant and thought why not try it, but it became a disappoinment.
We ordered a bento menu (white rice with caramalised tuna, chicken curry, dumplings, salad and miso soup. Pretty nice package we thought. The curry and tuna sauce tasted well, but the meat was not very hard because it was made warm in the microwave. We also ordered nigiri sushi which was of mediocre quality. Gyoza was average. Grilled meat sqewers were made warm in the microwave, tasted like rubber. Absolutely terrible.
Service was good, but not really friendly. We were appointed a (crappy) spot near the entrance, while there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. The lady was quite rude, she walked away immediatly without asking us if it was ok. We asked for a different table, but she ignored us. So we walked to the table ourselves and she had no choice but to appoint the table to us, but not without an unfriendly look.
Can't really recommend this place if you are a fan of authentic Japanese food. -

Conveniently nestled between Le Marais and l'Hotel de Ville, this large for neighborhood restaurant attracted us because it still served lunch at 2:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon.
We nearly walked out after stepping inside, however, since most of the tables were dirty. Unfortunately, hunger overcame our good senses and we stayed. The sushi was primarily rice, the miso soup watery and the tempura soggy and cold. The service was equally cold but slow and still managed to get part of our order wrong.
The irony is that there are 2 other sushi spots within 100 feet (30 meters)! We won't be back and will try those instead.
